Uchida, who joined Schalke from J-League club Kashima Antlers last summer directly into the core players are still trained at the Royal Blues Felix Magath.
Now although Schalke have changed coaches from Magath to Ralf Rangnick, Uchida remains a vital pillar for the home team's Ruhr valley.
Ahead of the special moments that will be recorded history, Uchida admitted continue to prioritize the team victory rather than a personal record, including optimism to step into the Champions League final.
"Everything can happen. We could even win the Champions League," Uchida said on FIFA's official website.
"I hear the fact that (the first Japanese person who appeared in the Champions League semi-final), but the most important thing is my club, Schalke, is on the big four. This is a remarkable achievement," he explained.
"When you first came here, I have to adapt to the Bundesliga football. This is one of the best leagues in the world, it takes more physical and understanding to play here,"
Although optimistic about the chances his team to the finals, Uchida has also paid respect at Manchester United, a team that is always seen as a child in Japan. He also will deal with veteran winger Ryan Giggs.
"He (Giggs) is a legend in world football, the player with the ability and fair play. I often see the match Manchester United as a child in Japan. They are a great team,"
"But I will give everything for the Schalke to get to the final at Wembley. If we are able to do so, it would be a remarkable achievement," said Uchida.
